Department of ME was one of the first departments at PPU which started a bachelor program in an engineering discipline, meanly in Automotive engineering in the year 1990.  The department offers currently the bachelor degree in three disciplines in mechanical engineering:
·         Automotive Engineering (started on 1990)
·         Mechantronics Engineering (started on 1998)
·         Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineering (started on 2003)
              
It is worthy to mention that PPU is the only university in West-Bank and Gaza strip which offers bachelor degree in Automotive and Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineering
