تأسس مشغل العمارة سنة 2022م ويتبع لدائرة الهندسة المعمارية، يقدم المشغل المهارات العملية والتطبيقية لعمل المجسمات والمنحوتات والتطبيقات المتعلقة بالتصاميم المعمارية.

The competencies and skills covered in the lab: 

 

The architectural engineering workshop aims to provide the student with the skills necessary to make three-dimensional models or any other manual works, which are considered among the necessary skills during academic study as well as work after graduation. This is applied through identifying the equipment and using it to implement designs in the form of three-dimensional models in various ways. Its types. Making sculptures using different materials, including wood, gypsum, etc.

Targeted students in the lab: 

 

It covers practical courses for students of the Bachelor of Architecture, Bachelor of Interior Architecture, and Bachelor of Decoration and Furniture

 

Courses covered in the lab: 

 

Engineering (Architectural) Workshops - Interior Architecture Workshop 1 - Interior Architecture Workshop 2 - and Crafts Workshop

 

Major equipment and facilities in the lab: 

 

CNC machine, 46-tamper cabinet, 5 work tables, and electrical equipment (8 drilling and carving tools (Dremel) and 4 accessories, 1 sanding machine, 2 portable cutting machines, 2 machining tools, and 5 clamps.

Occupational health and safety instructions of the lab: 

1. Do not use the tools except in the presence and consultation of the supervisor.

2. Wear a laboratory apron and safety glasses while working.

3. Make sure that the tools and accessories are installed correctly before using them.
