The Society was established in 2015, and it is one of the branches of the British Society of Mechanical Engineers. The administrative section consists of elected students affiliated to the Society. It also includes a faculty member supervisor who is enrolled in   the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the university. The association carries out many academic activities such as training students on new engineering topics, exposing them to extracurricular and entertaining activities, engaging them in scientific and entertaining trips and cultural competitions.
