In 1990, department of electrical engineering (EE) has launched one of the first bachelor programs at Palestine Polytechnic University, namely Computer Systems Engineering. The department has continued opening of unique engineering programs in electrical and electronic fields and is now proud to host five engineering programs, the largest number of programs in a PPU academic department.
These programs are:
      ·         Industrial Automation Engineering (started on 1994)
      ·         Biomedical Engineering (started on 1997)
      ·         Communication and Electronics Engineering ( started on 2006)
      ·         Electrical Power Engineering (started on 2011)
