    Biography:

·            Assistant Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering in the Palestine

Polytechnic University – Palestine, since September 2004.

The main activity as a lecturer is teaching Instrumentation and Measurements,

Mechanical Design, ICE Fueling Systems, Internal Combustion Engines,

Applied Mechanics, Automotive Systems Diagnostics.

·            Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering in the Palestine Polytechnic

University – Palestine, from September 2003 to September 2004.

·            Assistant Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering in the Palestine

Polytechnic University – Palestine, from October 2002 to September 2003.

The main activity as a lecturer is teaching Control Systems, Metrology, Mechanical

Design, ICE Fueling Systems.

·            Postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Energetics in the University of L'Aquila,

Italy, from February 2002 to September 2002.

The principal activity regards the modeling of air and fuel dynamics inside the intake

manifolds of internal combustion engines. This activity mainly aimed to improve and

introduce innovative model-based air/fuel ratio control techniques that lead to the

reduction in exhaust emissions and fuel consumption. This activity includes designing

and conducting the required experiments for the outcome of the modeling activity on

the proper test bench. In addition, many various teaching activates.   

·            Supervisor of research graduation projects in mechanical engineering at the Department

of Energetics in the University of L'Aquila – Italy, during my doctoral studies, from

1998 to 2001. The projects are mainly on modeling, control and experimentation of

internal combustion engines fueling processes.

·            Teaching and research assistant at the department of mechanical engineering in the

Palestine Polytechnic University – Palestine, from May 1996 to September 1998.

As an assistant, I have conducted helping sessions for Statics, Dynamics, Machine

Design, Mechanical Vibrations, Heat Transfer and Thermodynamics. Also, I have

supervised students in the Measurement Instrumentation's Laboratory, in addition,

I have conducted workshops for Fuel Injection Systems (Diesel, Gasoline).
