PPU expects that
all students come to the
College of Engineering
and Technology for a serious academic purpose and expects them to be responsible
individuals who conduct themselves with high standards of honesty. Students must
be able to develop themselves academically; seek knowledge a professional way. Academic
Integrity requires that all forms of academic dishonesty or violation of rules are
considered serious offenses for which disciplinary penalties can be imposed.
Freshmen Orientation
Sessions and College Open Day are held every year to provide freshmen with information
about the
College of Engineering
and Technology academic programs. This event provides first-year students with an
excellent opportunity to meet with engineering faculty and to inform them about
the programs requirements, specialization subjects, postgraduate opportunities,
and career possibilities. High school students and their families are cordially
invited to visit the PPU during the College Open Day and tour departments' facilities.
Program Selection
Session is held at the end of the summer following their freshmen year. All freshmen
are expected to select a priority list of three possible programs. The freshmen
supervising committee distribute all qualified students to the specialization groups
according to their priority selection and program capacity in competitive way.
