Criteria for Distributing
CET Majors:
Students are distributed on CET majors (except for the Architecture
Engineering) after the final results of the Second Semester (or the Summer Semester
if available) under the condition of completing 30 credit hours from the first year requirements. In addition, the following requirements have to be taken into consideration:
a.
Section capacity for each major
is maximum 30 students
b. If more
than 30 students are willing to study such a major, choosing students will depend
on their grades on:
i.
PPU Cumulative
Average
ii.
High School
Average
iii.
Grades on specific courses decided by the department as
follows:
§
Automotive Engineering Program:
Engineering Drawing,
Physics I.
§
Mechatronics Engineering Program: Physics II, Calculus II.
§
Heating &Air Conditioning
Engineering Major: Engineering Drawing, Physics I.
§

Notes: The student can't reject the major s/he was admitted in but s/he can transfer to another
major after studying one semester at least in the major s/he was admitted in and
after getting 85 grade average in that specific semester.
