Quality Committee

The Quality Assurance Committee is responsible for the assurance
and the enhancement of the quality in all educational processes and to
disseminate the quality culture among the college employees. The committee reports directly to the Dean. Its chairman is a member of the University Quality Assurance Board.
The committee members are four: the chairman in addition to three members that represent the college departments.

Activities : |
- Conduct
activities necessary to spread the quality culture and enhance the performance in
coordinate with the Quality Assurance
Unit in the university; distribute helpful printed resources,
organize training sessions, organize workshops, and provide web-based resources.
Give
advice in establishing the quality assurance policy in the college and supervise
its implementation.
Supervise self-evaluation process of the academic programs, and provide the necessary help
during the external review teams' missions.
Open
a website for the committee using Moodle environment to facilitate the committee
communications and provide resources
for the college employees.
Report
to the college Dean all the committee activates and the necessary recommendations.

Future Plans: |
- Develop a Unified Software Template
for course syllabus with a built-in database;
programs Curriculums, courses prerequisites, lecturer's names …etc.
- Conduct training sessions for writing the ILOs before starting semesters in collaboration of the Quality Assurance Unit.
- Improve the website resources by developing
web-based syllabus for all the offered courses on the college website.
