It is my pleasure to welcome you in the web-side of the College of Engineering and Technology (CET).
CET was found on 1990 when two engineering bachelor programs were launched, including: Computer Systems Engineering and Automotive Engineering with a total number of students 40.
CET is now proud to have 11 bachelor programs distributed among 3 academic departments, including Department of Civil and Architectures, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Department of Mechanical Engineering.
The number of students reaches now (Febr. 2011) 1800 with a female percentage of 32%. We are proud to reach such a percentage since engineering studies are still internationally unattractive for women even in the European countries where the female percentage in the engineering disciplines doesn’t exceed 12%. Based on our belief that women should be motivated to launch the engineering education and professions, we have opened engineering programs that guarantee a profession life adequate for both genders of absolvent (like architect engineering, computer system engineering) .
